The Chapel at Wildberry Farm

Went to visit Wildberry Farm after its new remodel and all we can say is WOW. Ashlee walked us around the property and she thought of every detail. Preparing for Ashevents styled shoot, we started to figure out mechanics on how we would install this draping masterpiece, originally wanting to hang it but instead thought we would save the gorgeous ceiling and keep it on the ground.

Now, everything happens for a reason, we thought that the install would be made of organza material….but after ordering, gluing down wire to the first piece of fabric we quickly realized that we would need to use something else. After visiting the nearest fabric store and purchasing tool, my mother mentioned some wedding dresses that she acquired and we thought would be a better idea to hide the wire inside a little better.

I do not know how to sow, but thankfully my mother does, and she is always willing to put in the work. So after making somewhat of a game plan she got to work. I stood there as a “hold this” person until she was ready to see what it would end up looking like. We set it up outside, as it was too tall to work with inside. Then after drilling a few holes here and there we decided that it would just have to work and packed it all up to head to Wildberry.

Thankfully we were able to get in the day before the shoot to attempt to piece the wedding dress draping together. It was one of those things where if you keep adding and tweaking it eventually comes together. By the grace of God, it was standing, sturdy, and really something else.

Florals were added the next day and made it complete. I do have to say although it worked out and was a show stopper I really enjoyed ripping the fabric out of the wood.
